The Quarry Sets a Standard

One of my absolute favorite communites is a new golf and "water resort" community in North Naples, The Quarry. This new community is continuing to set sales records in 2011 after the merger of the original developer, Centex, and Pulte Homes, with the stimulus of new home floor plans. The golf course is a championship venue designed by the team of Hurzdan and Frye, and has 18 challenging holes that wind around the huge interior lake. The Quarry has been the site of two Senior Tour golf events, the ACE CLASSIC. If you are not a golfer, the Quarry lake, one mile long and a half mile wide, offers water skiing and a quarter mile long beach of white sand. Great for family living and wonderful winter vacations, The Quarry has much to offer for everyone.

The holiday season in Naples has much to offer, even if we don't have snow plows, 15 degree weather, school closings, traffic jams on slippery ice. Those you can leave behind, and come to Naples for the lights, events, family fun, good food, and our special downtown Christmas trees. Both Fifth Avenue and Third Street South do their best to deck themselves merrily for your enjoyment, and the Third Street merchants even pump in a little snow.

Heritage Bay Golf and Country Club

There are over 100 golf communities in SW Florida, and part of the value I bring to my golfing clients is my knowledge of communities, the golf courses, the properties, and the membership options and costs. One of my favorite communities in Naples is Heritage Bay, a new community by Lennar Homes. This community has sold very well and is nearing build out. Pelican Bay Sunsets in North Naples

Sunsets on our Gulf Beaches in Naples are a natural "gift" appreciated by residents and visitors - often with a glass of wine on the beach, in a beach front restaurant or in the Pelican Bay Beach club.  The three beach clubs in Pelican Bay- located in exclusive North Naples- offer wonderful views, food, drinks and beach services such as chairs and umbrellas.  Many come to our beaches to celebrate the sunset, and the beach front restaurants will "ring the sunset bell" as the last rays dip into the horizon.  In the photo of the dramatic summer storm taken from a Pelican Bay high rise, you can see the access path that runs behind the high rises, which is used by the shuttle to take residents across the preserve and inland bays out to the beach clubs.

Third Street South in Olde Naples

   

This is where you want to be....beautiful Olde Naples! Although my wife, Lori, and I have lived in Naples a combined 40 years, we always know we are in one of the country's most beautiful and charming areas. We took a walk from Cambier Park, a wonderful park and tennis facilty in Olde Naples, over to Third Street South for a chilled latte at Tony's Off Third, one of the best spots for a relaxing morning drink. We passed by my favorite store, Tommy Bahama, which is also one of the top restaurants in town. Oh yes....the muffin from Tony's seen here has to be tasted...cranberry and orange. Tony's wine selections are among the best in Naples, and often they will host wine tastings.
